A contemporary family home located in Kerzner Estate, positioned between Camps Bay and Constantia. The house is positioned as close to the road as possible to allow for the back garden, pool and all entertainment areas to be on the same level, enhancing the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. The orientation also allows views to be captured from all areas within the house.

As the residence would be nestled in a forested area, the tiered building was designed to include layered landscaping, integrating the house into is surroundings. The terraces also serve to break the façade. The open plan living area that can be closed off makes a flexible floorplan possible.

The matter of privacy vs open space was an integral part of our thinking process and the design ensures a perfect balance between the two. A central staircase in the double volume adds grandeur to the design and delivers magnificent views.
